Every October the air turns crisp and the moon comes out setting the scene for CalArts’ biggest night, The Halloween Party. It’s one of the most unique experiences CalArts offers. 
Just like the students’ art, both the creative team and guests put immense pride in to the celebration. The CalArts family only comes together all as one a few times a year and this is the best of them.

The heart of the event is CalArts’ immense Main Gallery. This is the main venue throughout the Halloween event’s history. It has hosted names like Andrew W.K. and The Black Eyed Peas. To one side of the Main Gallery is our second smaller venue which features the best of the best bands from CalArts and beyond. Other venues to explore include a lounge, bar, and patio. With over 2,000 students, guests and alumni exploring the event, things get a bit crazy. But when you come to the Halloween Party, crazy is what you expect.
